The Social Service Department of the Housing Authority of the City of York, also known as The Jefferson Center, offers a wide range of programs and services to assist and enhance the life opportunities and self-sufficiency efforts of adults and children residing in Section 8 and public housing throughout York County. The Housing Authority has partnered up with several community organizations to provide their expertise and to offer a continuum of services. The Jefferson Community Center is an investment in the future of our community and in York's most valuable resource- its residents.
